Pretty sure there are older threads showing what the inmates do for income but figured an updated one would be cool. Would be cool to see others day to day and see updated ongoing projects and I love learning stuff. I remember these threads also being awesome for networking and drumming up biz for lots of people which is always good and keeps the $$$ amongst good deserving inmates :thumbsup

I have always came back to electronics and fabrication type work including owning Home/car audio type shop and my latest endeavor which is building public safety type vehicles and communications. Also dabbled in bridge construction and other things. Here are a few pics 20140407_165320.jpg 20140530_110637.jpg IMG_20150424_191659456.jpg IMG_20150501_201422074_HDR.jpg IMG_20150501_203410338.jpg IMG_20150926_120444509.jpg IMG_20151119_093911148.jpg IMG_20151119_094400345.jpg 20140728_114149.jpg IMG_20151103_221133091.jpg IMG_20151103_221133091.jpg IMG_20151107_160914348.jpg IMG_20151107_161001639.jpg IMG_20151107_190526454.jpg IMG_20151107_202345715.jpg IMG_20151114_161918310.jpg IMG_20151105_244143615.jpg IMG_20151114_184042702.jpg 20140604_082202.jpg 20140604_082250.jpg

If you have a milk jug, with a safe seal, in the frig you just sent me 5 cents, 12 if it is a two pack that has a handle. I'm spending the next two an a half years looking out my truck window at this great country we live in.:D

Sales Analytics for a chemical engineering software company. The different software we lease is used to design refineries and chemical plants to de bottle neck processes and increase yields, optimize a plants real time performance, or if any of you refinery operator guys remember your time on your simulators, good chance it was one of ours. That's the boring stuff, my hobby is cornhole boards and that's what everyone here mostly knows me for.

You design them? or?

Yes, I am one of the product designers, I started with the company in 2005 when it first launched and been here ever since.

I primarily focus on the chassis side and we have another guy that does the bodies, then pass it off to marketing to handle the graphics/decals.

Industrial Electrician.
Mostly underground mining, have dabbled in factory automation.
And had my far share of house bashing.

I subcontract ~7 days every 2 weeks to a gold mine just outta town.
On my days off I do small domestic jobs.
Had a house fault this morning.
Was sorting out exhaust stuff on the boat at lunch and quoted a new house this afternoon. 1013993_228640803973594_12342783_n1_zpsb82fdb90.jpg images%20(6).jpg images%20(7).jpg 20170523_170550.jpg images%20(8).jpg

I couldn't tell you who all, is using it. Like many of my inventions, I sold it in the patent pending state. You won't see my name on the patent. When you step into a large industry and they give you an good offer for your idea, you take it and run. I see so many people hold out for more money and end up with a handful of nothing.

I'm a commercial general contractor have a home office (Escondido ) but seem to travel all over Calexico, Victorville, Otay Mesa, San Diego and currently working in Irvine for a long time Biotech customer, I've built out all kinds TI's design / build Little Caesar pizzas stores to Biotech- Labs & Dry Rooms in the 10 or so years or so I've been licensed. I grew up working for my family that builds concrete tilt ups & commercial complexs and decided that I needed more.

My next goal (within 5 to 7 years ) will be to become licensed in AZ. and I'm thinking that a weekend only type handyman / contractor in Havasu would buy some midweek boat and jeep fuel.....

There are some really cool jobs, everybody has a story to tell!!

Nice work!
Thanks! Yours as well.. We're on a big remodel now that we had the stringers made for us at a fab shop and we're going to run stainless tubing horizontally. Still a ways out to get this done but we mocked it up for the HO.

After 24 years in the country western industry (rodeo and retail side) I made a change. For the last year and a half I've been selling Rapid Prototyping. Mainly through the means of 3D printing. It's been a life changer for me. Weekends off for the first time in my life and I'm loving it. We offer 3D Printing (5 different technologies) CNC and Urethane castings. Scariest move I've ever made. Anyone need any prototypes? 😬

When I was a kid I wanted to be a lawyer. Instead I'm a general foreman for a large GC out of Las Vegas. I don't know what I'll be doing in 20 years but I've never been happy in one spot. There's always a better position I'm chasing

You guys have some really cool work. :thumbsup:thumbsup

It would be nice to focus on one thing.

For me, it is something different every day. Wake up every morning unemployed and figure out whatever it takes to pay the bills.
