The rest of the country is so lacking when it comes to the West Coast gelcoaters. Very nice and I can't wait to hear these twins running.

Cool boat!!

Can't wait to see how it runs with the 300r's

Out of curiosity what kind of price difference would there be between this set up and the same boat with 400's.

This seems like it could be a great option for someone looking for a boat that still hauls ass but has no need for the numbers 400's are running.

MSRP is about $5000 less each for a 300r versus 400r

I am sure there is a bit of a weight difference, but for 10k total that’s a lot of HP left on the table. Outboards is a whole new world to me, just curious why someone would go with 300’s instead of 400’s if they are already dropping 200k?

Thats a good question............for resale the 400's would be key as well. The weight difference is a total of 312 pounds which is pretty significant, it will be interesting to see how the top speed numbers shake out between the two, I dont think it will be a whole lot, maybe 10-15 mph.

I would spend the 10K for the 10-15 mph

If it was 20K savings I would consider the 300r's

These motors and the weight savings would probably be ideal on a smaller boat like the new 25 speedster.

300lbs vs 200HP. I’m going to guess you will really feel that difference coming off the bottom and through the midrange. Well worth $10k in that price range.

Beautiful build Tim, cant wait to see it fly! Don't listen to the white noise, everyone has an opinion. It's going to be Bad @ss!
Speaking of opinions:D
I was of the opinion from the concept drawing we should ditch the green pin line in favor of something a bit more modest.
Tim stuck to his guns through several attempts to sway him, lol.
It looks pretty slick though!

I’d guess the final numbers aren’t 10mph less than with the 300’s and personally i think the 300’s sound cooler also.
