I am with you. Plumber tried to use plastic said no it is going to be copper. Then he tried to use the new style crimping type. No I will sweat them. Never had an issue the last 4 decades of doing it that way. Unlike the other alternatives like plastic

Here we have big issues with the water causing pinholes in copper. Using type K wherever there is no easy access the rest type L but has a nice crawl space. I got the whole floor torn out so no crawling. Big rat problem here they ate the water lines of subzero month ago so I turned off supply. Bastards tried eating through the water filter after. If PEX I would be almost done instead of 75% left to go.

yep spent the day pulling the river crap out of the trailer and now i'm putting the dirtbike crap back in. this involves cleaning random crap, the garage, the trailer etc etc

SoCal. This job is in PV. The worst water in our area is Lomita. None of it is pipe friendly. Copper pin holes and cast iron cracks common. This cast piece popped Tuesday in Manhattan Beach.

Possibly that's why using copper. Every other job lately used PEX. It is so much faster and easier than copper. Not worth the risk although doing everything possible to block them out.

Well, had a big conference call at 7:30 AM, then tripped out of the hole from 10,240’, laid down entire BHA assembly for replacement on next Well, did all my end of well paperwork, completed my daily invoice, watched Friday’s NHRA qualifying from Charlotte, changed clothes, drove to Best Buy Grand Junction, bought new printer and monitor, and am now having a Makers and sprite at outback waiting on my onion petals.

Cold and wet today (51 degrees).

Kids had a YMCA swim meet. Oldest son (age 11) swam 27.5 for a 50 free, and 32.81 for 50 fly. Youngest son (10) swam 31.33 for 50 free and a 35.80 for 50 back. Both have qualified for the state chamionship meet in March in those two events.

My wife's bithday today too. She turned 46.
