Polishing the diamond plate fenders on the Baja double axle trailer. Shouldn't take more than a 6 pac of Sol. Per fender.

12 tons of dirt moved... from driveway to back yard in wheel barrel, then into a planter for back fill. only 8 more tons to go.

Yard work - done, laundry - done, clean the pool - done, clean the house - done ... time to relax. Smoked some ribeyes and reverse searing them now. Have a great weekend RDP!

That's hard work and it's amazing how much material a shovel can move in a short time. I've shoveled tons of base, asphalt, and concrete. Hopefully you have help or you wish it was just a ton of work.

Mostly watching golf and drinking heavily, but I should get started cleaning up the backyard tomorrow after the winter storms.

Finally took the new boat out for a shakedown run today. Had an amazing time, and damn she is an awesome boat. Super happy with the power even with the 496. She still runs 65 with the wife, daughter and 50 gallons of has. Oh ya, and rides like a 75 Coupe Deville. Nice and smooth.

Just me, all in moderation with hydration. I need to find some time to get the other 8 in soon before it starts getting hot hot. [emoji85][emoji23]

Spring garage cleaning Saturday. Sunday I'm going to stare at this all day with an ice cold cocktail in hand. Add some friends and a little BBQ later in the day. Gong to be in the high 80's so I'm pretty excited about that.

may i ask what kind of Gantry crane that is and the weight limit and cost ?

was thinking of getting one ?

thanks for any info.

I ordered it from Harbor Freight. Rated at 1,000 lbs. It is built better than I expected, but it’s still cheap. It did the job no problem. The upper beam is normally bolted in place. I moved the uprights out approximately 3” per side to clear the trailer and then welded the mounting plates in place.

Yes, it would not clear the trailer guides that come up the sides of the boat. I know these are removable on some trailers, but not in my case.

We made it out yesterday and survived lol. We launched at Cattail and ran to the springs for breakfast. Pretty rough ride but it was a good learning experience for us. We don't usually boat here on the lake and haven't ventured real far. It was cool to see a different area. 4 kids under 6 makes longer boat rides in less than perfect conditions real tricky. No pics though
