Take a look at Rogers or Advantage compared to an Eliminator Sprint you will see the difference in the deck

I believe the bubble is usually in reference to the deck over the helm.......ex...Hallett bubble...look like a bubble up front...lol
I dont think they are flat bottom hulls either...small v

There are also some bubble deck flats. Sanger has one. I believe it's on the boat and watercraft section .

Sanger invented the bubble deck with their flat bottom.

Roger Weiman immediately splashed the bubble portion and grafted it to his 18 flat deck.

I believe many manufacturers had bubble decks. Named after the bulge right before the deck. There were runner bottoms and jets. Probably even OB.

A bubble "deck" jet will likely be a v-bottom and not a flat.

True. A “shallow” V.

Here is the Miller bubble.
It ain’t the best example, but you can see how it sort of slopes up forward if the dash. The dark area sticks up a bit above the forward deck.

Serious question here. Are these bubble boats? I know they're jets...I grabbed these pics out of my photo album. I took these out at Folsom in 1992-93. I used to run with the jet boat crowd until I realized they were gay.:p:D

The hell you say!
I had 4 acres in Anderson for 12 years.
PM me dates!
Shasta is my old stomping grounds.
It’s only a 2 hour drag from where I’m at now.

I sold that boat for the reason. That gel was 36 years old and my OCD was so afraid to be the one to ruin it....

Believe me , I regret selling this boat more than anyone could know....I loved that boat ...[emoji41][emoji106]

Bubble decks were typically 18’6”. Hallett , Eliminator, Crusader, Southwind and about 80% of the boats built in the 80’s were bubble decks. The white bubble just in front of the dash.

Then you had slant or slope decks. They were just under or at 18ft. Here’s my 81 Crusader.

Then you had T decks.
