Nordic puts it in their boats so I’d call them

In-Stitches has a SeaDek display in their front lobby a couple of weeks ago. I assumed they are a distributor/installer of the product.

Yeah In-Stitches is the Havasu SeaDek place. They did the template and install on mine and Blue Seas in San Diego did the renderings and patterns based off what I asked for. No complaints, super easy to work with.

I went Gator Step just based on their attitude comparison to SeaDIK’s at the LA boat show. Real happy with their service and product even though all i did was on my trailer.

I’m in the process of doing my Swim Step on my 26 Eagle with Gator Step. Its in the final design process right now, so far with the template material and the cost of the completed step I’m in it for roughly $235. The Step alone was $200 for material only.

Is Gator Step less expensive than Seadek per square foot?

SC Wake is a SeaDek fabricator based in Phx with installers in several states. They will be in Havasu for Desert Storm street fair. Look for green/blue Nautique G23 and their EZ UP in vendor area.

I believe they do all of Nordic's installs or partner with them in some capacity.

Eric at SC Wake did the SeaDek on my Nordic. They had a guy come out and do the scan of my swim deck then came out to our house in Havasu to do the install. Easy to deal with folks. 812-637-0262

Don't forget ... I think SeaDek has a new "snap-in" option too ... kinda makes it easier to make small repairs rather than having to tear out big glued down sections.

Approached Seadek to do the steps front and aft of the fenders on my trailer. Quoted me min charge over the phone roughly $200. Thought it was pricey so I ordered the kit to send to them and have them do it. After all said and done they ended up being over $400 for the 4 pieces.... No thanks. Called Gator step, they did the same thing for me at $175.. Thumbs up to Gator step. Bye bye seadek.

I emailed Seadek twice in the last few weeks with no reply from them, so I called today and was put on hold for extended period. Finally they picked up and asked for my number to call me back, they never called me back. It really shouldn't be that hard to buy someone's product.

I used BlueSea Fab in SD. First time, they drove up to WOT Marine in Carlsbad and did all the measurement for my trailer. Second time I had an appt to measure my entry way on the UltraDeck (install was separate appt). Once measured they decided to cut and install same day. No issues at all, but all my meetings were with the owner. I will say 1 of the team members was on the grumpy side (did not seem to like working IMO).

What have the prices people have been paying to do Gatorstep or Seadek? I'm looking to do a little outboard boat. I need about 4 foot by 6 feet.

What’s the durability on either one of these? 10-15 years?

We charge $34/sq ft for Gatorstep installed. A typical 28’ deck boat runs about $3500 for a point of reference.
