Loss of my Best Friend

Today is one of the hardest days I've ever gone through. Cooter's cancer was taking a hold of him and he needed to be released from the pain. Cooter is now at the river above forever with Diesel and Homer. Loosing my best friend is an understatement. Good job taking care of the Fat Burger Tripple X Challenge today for your last meal buddy...You handled it!!! Goodbye Cooter Boy. Until we play again. I love you buddy!

I had to do similar almost exactly a year ago. Was hard as hell but as others have said remember the good times and when it's time getting another dog is a good thing. I adopted a dog and it's been one of the best things I've done. It's a bitch but keep your head up and you'll get through it.

Damn sorry to hear about your dog. Both mine are getting worse every day. Both still wagging there tails but it's coming sooner than later. My Male Bruiser has pancreatitis and has lost 40 lbs in 2 months. He is still happy but tough to watch and dreading the day. I was giving him a steak a day but the vet made me stop.

I just went through the same thing with my Parker two months ago. I’m still in disbelief but laugh my ass off at some of the antics he and I shared.
