MTI 340 ran 134 MPH with the new 450’s..

What do they run with the 400’s? Low 120’s?

I’d say that’s pretty impressive!

Yea call it $60k. Will probably run like a 520 or 540 in a single engine application..

My $120k was referencing power only..

Unless these are included free today with an Eliminator bote purchase.

This is from another page. Not sure which numbers are accurate.

Recently, we ran the MTI340 X catamaran at Mercury’s Lake X test facility with twin Mercury Racing 300R outboards, two people and an average fuel load, the best speed we saw was 108 mph. With the new 450Rs, a full load of fuel and five people, we saw 116 mph. In Mercury Racing testing with twin 400Rs, the boat ran 121 mph, but with twin 450Rs, the top number was 127 mph and Halley told Trade Only Today, there’s more fine-tuning to be done. Yep for 40% more $$$$$$

So in a twin engine cat

With the 400r is ~550$ per mph (motors only)
With the 450r it’s ~950$ per mph (motor only)

Impressive.

450 hp at 689 lbs. The heaviest version is 715 compare to 999 for the Yamaha 425. The lightest yami is 952 lbs. Two motors is a fat dude. 4 is my fat ass and a couple of hot chicks.

Mercury crushed it again. I hope the drive is bulletproof for more.

Well Nordic has their new true tunnel cat In production with another on deck.

Then they have the newly purchased eliminator ocean cat that they’ve gone silent on.

Also they have their mysterious CC being developed.
