Well, is it everything I made it out to be? Place is insane right? Water crystal clear, weather perfect, quiet, pristine, nature, fresh air, down right heavenly!

Only buy Japanese knives. Just like Porsche, there is no substitute. One word of advice, be very careful. Knives are very sharp. May lose a finger if not too careful.

Global, Shun or Miyabi.

Shun is made by Kershaw. I have a set that is about 13 years old, they are awesome, but don't think they are Japanese made. They do have a Japanese edge on them though.

Shun cutlery is handcrafted in Japan by the Kai Corporation. For more than 100 years, Kai's highly skilled artisans have been producing blades of unparalleled quality in the spirit of the legendary swordsmiths of Japan. For three generations, Kai has been dedicated to listening to the voices of its customers, providing products that contribute to a more tasteful life. Incredibly sharp edges, partnered with a stunning aesthetic, set Shun knives apart from every other kitchen knife on the market today. In the tradition of Seki’s swordsmiths, every knife is handmade by highly skilled specialists and requires at least 100 handcrafted steps to complete. Every day, the legacy of ancient swordsmiths serves as inspiration to the artisans in the Kai factories. This tradition of excellence, combined with the newest technology and advanced materials, makes every Shun knife a functional work of art.

Backed Hazmat on a call involving a guy trying to make his own alkaline batteries.
Got to guess how many firemen it took to change a flat tire, lol. Lesson is don’t roll code 3 in the freeway shoulder, lots of nice bolts and debris to kill tires lol.

So totally random but David Blaine and a crew landed a hot air balloon on my parents property this morning. Than did a little magic show with my mom... I guess he is doing a special in NYC coming up and is training with the balloons. Not sure if they actually intended to land or not.

Flathead Lake, MT at 10pm

Great picture, we went up to MT for the first time last month and we couldn't believe how beautful it was. The lakes in Glacier NP were so clear I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it. We drove around Flathead lake one day and stopped for burgers at this little Mom and Pop drive-in in Polson. It was like what I remember from when I was a kid real nostalgic and excellent food. I’d love to go boating up there.

We are staying in Polson for a few days, would love to have the boat up here but a 1300 mile tow is a little much for me.

I have family all over MT, some cousins boat there. Great state but too cold for me to live in. Several of them snow bird in yuma, lol.

Boating today. It was a bit sloppy but good run. Took the boys my wife, daughter and her friend. Glad to be boating again.

Saw some cool stuff. This old school chris craft thingy with twin old outboards. And I saw a cool schiada. Ran into John Teague. He just picked up a sweet 38’ fountain.

Good day.

The twin outboard is my buddy. He did an EV conversation with Chevy volt batteries. Pretty sweet!
