Now what to do with the money?:D I will say that while out on the boat this weekend the wife mentioned twice that we should consider building a Shockwave Magnatude.

How bout a little wealth redistribution...Isn't that supposed to be the theme
No!
Unless you’re a socialist liberal puppet...err..:D

If this doesn’t open Grads eyes, nothing ever will.

Grads made money!
Grads likes boats!
Grads knows a guy named Anderson that builds great boats.
Grads can give some of his money to Anderson, and Anderson builds him a bad ass boat.
Grads is happy, he has a bad ass boat.
Anderson is Happy. He got paid to build Grads a bad ass boat.

Anderson’s employees are happy, they made a pay check for weeks, building Grads a bad ass boat.

The suppliers that sell Anderson all the materials to build Grads boat are happy. They sold material and made money, and had a hand in building Grads a bad ass boat.
The state of California is especially happy! Grads bought a bad ass boat that needs to be registered! And that costs a lot! And then there’s luxury tax. That will cost a lot!
And the state is extra happy that Grads voted for those higher taxes, on a bad ass boat! :D

The end.

That! Is the way our economy works;)

And grads has to sell the new boat to pay the taxes but the new owner is happy also. The the government gets to tax the sale so they are happy. The new owner now has to register his new boat so the government is happy again cause he now has to pay registration fees and also the luxury tax again.

West coast tooling was an independent shop spraying gelcoat and laying up boats for many manufacturers including Cole, Eliminator, Caliber 1, and others. I even saw a stoker or two run through the shop

Ok. Fair enough. Did Bob A end up with Cliffs molds, and if he did, how did he get them. The 21' Skier is the mold I'm referring to. :)

Just curious. Heard a couple stories back in the day.

Bobby, he came to Shockwave with a ton of rigging talent and the Magnum mold, from Caliber1, as I remember it?

The guy to ask here?

Who cares. Whatever happened occurred 25+ years ago.

Whatever Cliff did to his business, he did to himself.

Whatever excellence and success Shockwave has achieved during its 25+ years, stands on its own merits.

Boobie the liberal shit stirrer.

Thanks for the reply. I know all about Cliff. He re-did a couple of my boats when he was still doing upholstery in Anaheim by G & S Marine. Bought a 21' Caliber from him and almost bought a 25'. But the ankle bracelet kinda made me get a Eliminator in 98':)

Shit stirrer...lol :D

You forgot the part about cliffs felony conviction, tax evasion, etc. Ya know that corporate America stuff you speak of all the time.

Contrast that to Shockwave. Honest, integrity, steady, reliable, quality, top notch....

Not even sure why you would go there, trying to Mar a solid company and a sponsor of RDP

Sorry but Bob, Danny, and a few others a good friends of mine.

What does any of Cliff’s issues have to do with Anderson?
Nothing!
BobbyV May be stirring the shit, in your eyes, but nothing he said was untrue.
Stuff happens.
People move forward from stuff happening.
Bobby Anderson builds a great boat.
And, Grads should pay him to build a new one.
I see no down side here??

talk to your accountant 1st......
I've been down that road before and they are a buzz kill. In 2007 I walked into my accountant and money manager and said I wanted to cash in a 401k to buy a boat. They looked at me like I was an asshole....I made a lot of money on that boat....more than that 401k would have..
