The boating community, the Parker people, the Havasu people, and, the Eliminator Boats family, Bobs one time right hand man, Mike “Mac” McInerny (I hope I spelled that right) passed today.
When I started at Eliminator Mac was Bobs production manager.
He later proved smarter than the rest of us at the shop by moving out of California:D to run the Havasu Eliminator shop. He had a place in Parker for a long time too.

Anyone who knew Mac, well? You know.
You’ll never meet another guy like Mac.
Another mold that was broken at birth.

Rest In Peace, Mac.

I knew Mac from around Havasu. I’d see him at the weinerschnitzel all the time during the hot rod meetups etc.. :(

I am sad to hear he passed.

Very sad news....Mike deserves a lot of credit for much of the success of Eliminator Boats for many decades. Bob Leach called me a few days ago and told me that Mike had just been placed in Hospice care. RIP Mike

Rest In Peace Mac. I met Mike when Eliminator was still building some models in Havasu and he was running the place and I would go there for service. Had a feeling not seeing him at the car shows something was Wrong.:(

I sold 3M and SST fasteners to him and saw him at parties in the Refuge
I never heard him say a bad word. Pretty rare in the boating business
Always smiling

Sad to hear, knew he was back in so Cal with his step daughter recently. I bought his Parker house in 2011.

Such sad news! Mac was an amazing guy. He helped me out in the past and went above and beyond. I tried to repay him by getting him his dog...Indio. I hope that dog brought him joy in his last hours.
I think Indio passed a couple of years ago.
But, he gave Mac all he had. Awesome dog.
Sort of fitting Mac got a one of a kind dog.
