I talked to Rob yesterday and the bay run isn’t looking to good. Winds are in the forecast.

Hopefully not to bad. I’d sure like to make a Golden Gate run

Tamara & I will be in the water @ B&W by 8am & we can run west on SJR & see how it looks. I'm hopeful we can still make a quick run to the Gate & turn around & get back to the Delta before it gets bad. The great news is the tide will be in & we can go around thru Suisun & Montezuma slough if needed.

I see on the Big Cat website "schedule" slow boats are going to tower park for lunch and big boats to stockton? maybe worded wrong as i would be surprised they would separate participants. Not entered but want to take some friends to look at the hardware on the docks.

Anyone know a time frame they'll be at stockton?

we'll be camped at windmill, if you see a motorhome with a big table full of adult beverages, that's us:)

They come by Windmill headed to stockton between 11 and 12:30 ish. Then come back by a couple hours later.

Some pictures from the run

The poker run itself is 120 miles. We did Antioch run a second time so we probably had almost twice that in total mileage. We burned a lot of gas.

Good times. Lots of go fast boats.

Funny story. The Cig center console went by me on the Delta during the run on the San Joaquin. I was going about 70 mph. It was really rough.

They passed us with all the passengers standing up, just blasting right through big rollers during the run like it was nothing. It looks like they could have had drinks in their hands going 80 mph and would not have spilled a drop. For such a big boat it was impressive to say the least.

One of my passengers turned to me and said we need to get that, so we can drink while underway.

I was pacing him right around 88mph in my little 21' when I had to slow down for snotty water. My wife and I had a good laugh at that. Pretty damn fast for such a big heavy boat full of people. There had to have been 10-15 people aboard.

Damn that's fast for a big 42 CC. Probably weighs 12,000#’s too. It had 4 x 400’s.

Then he went over a big roller like it was nothing. Me, my back hurts

We had slowed a bit when we came to a narrow crowded section when he passed me

Except he probably slowed so his passengers could refresh their drinks. ;)

They are crazy bad ass, and so long as you behind the windshield you are absolutely having cocktails at any speed.

RDPSC. Has a nice ring

Bath mats. They are rubber on the bottom so they don’t slide.

I got two of them and use them all the time. My engine hatch is gel coat and slippery. When I wax the boat it’s slippery as fuck. I totally understand how RD ended up in the chair!

Yore supposed to walk on them when we side tie. Of course some people didn’t get the memo. Lol

Are those RDPSCs on the decks of all those cats? River Dave's Place Safety Carpets? :D
