Who's everyone's money on for turning out the CC first?

Barron posted yesterday that they are almost ready to pull a mold off of the plug.

I think Nordic might be ahead of that??

Good looking boat. The CC market is red hot right now. I will say they are going to have some very, very tough competition. The east coast/ Florida builders have had years and years to fine tune their products , and turn out some amazing vessels to be sure Best of luck to these guys. The ultimate winner is the consumer .

Have not seen or heard anything about the DCB CC in development . Wonder where that one stands.

@Tony DCB Boats - can you share anything or do we have to wait until the Regatta

I haven’t heard anything about the Nordic CC’s in awhile. The size range they were building though were huge!! 47’+

If I remember right Thane said they need to get a taller building to build them.

DCB has slowed the process on their giant CC in order to get their new 37’ true tunnel done quicker.

Barron will be the first to have one in the water it looks like. I am very interested in their larger one they are building.

When I spoke to Randy about it last year around Christmas, he said all the R&D was going into the Hallet purchase and transition, the new 275 and then the 35 Cat which is now done and obvioulsy turned out awesome. He bought the molds out of Canada or something and the plan is to build himself a fishing boat when they get around to it. I do not think they are targeting the family CC Market yet...But that seems to be their model and it works. Build it for the Bossman and sell them from there.

Really pleasing lines kind of like a Bertram.
I agree. Less of the big swoopy stuff a lot of the other guys are doing and more traditional clean lines. Looks really nice.
