Just got home from a pretty good trip to ole Havi. Boys and I got in last Wednesday afternoon.

After unpacking, we went to The Spot to only find out they were closed, so decided to hit up Legendz for half price burger and dogs on Wednesday night.

Pretty good deal!!

After that we rolled over to RD's house. Boys watched a movie in the Hallett while Dave, Chris and I hung out.

Super fun night.

Thursday morning I was woke up at 5am by a concrete pump at the new build across the street.

Figured having a beer in the spa while watching them work was appropriate since I was awake.....

Once the boys got up, we made our way to an empty Windsor lot and drove to the Casino for breakfast. It was our first time there and it was awesome!! Not sure why we haven't done it before. So nice to not have to drive to Topock or Springs.

After breakfast, hit Steamboat and then finished the day in the channel with RVR2SNO and his crew.

Wife got into town around 6:30 and joined the boys and I at our friends house. Tacos, beer, cigars and swimming was a great way to end the day. Also got to hang out with a few members and meet one that I hadn't met in person yet.

The old Competition Chevrolet tank brought back some memories.......spent a lot of time there as a kid.

Got home to no AC on Thursday night and that absolutely SUCKED!!!

Luckily we were able to get it fixed by 1pm so we could still go boating.

Good times with great friends at the Sandbar. Kids had a great time hanging out on @FlyByWire new toon.

Saturday, took a run to Pirates for the V Hull meet up thing........$113 for breakfast and still had to pay $20 across on the beach....[emoji867][emoji867][emoji867][emoji107][emoji107]

Super fun and a great ride back. Ended the day on white sand beach with Singleton and his crew.

Channel on a Saturday never disappoints...............

We decided to do Parker for Sunday Funday!! Launched at Pirates and did breakfast at Foxes.

Floated at the Dam after breakfast for about an hour and had to deal with some ass surfing all the way at the top of the dam in a deckboat!!! Unbelievable!!

We floated all the way from the dam to right before rock island without having to start the boat.

. Got all of them up on the wakeboard. Even the buddies daughter who told me that She had no interest to go on a boat the day before. She even asked if she could try it on her own.

I also saw you Saturday afternoon. You backed out in front of our rental toon. I was supposed to be driving but my non-boating buddy didn't drink, so I took his spot on the cooler. I yelled, "Hurry up Joe!!!"

After the dam float on Sunday we spent time at Upper and lower sandbar.

And yes.......we picked up some guy hitchhiking on 95 along the way. Turns out he had a cooler of beer so we let him tag along......[emoji2369][emoji2369]

Got home and put the boat away, cooked some tacos and passed out.....

Now here is where it gets interesting.........

Turns out the hitchhiker we picked up actually owns a boat and was nice enough to invite my 4 year old and I out on Monday.

Since the wife and I drove 2 cars, she decided to take the older kids home and get them ready for school to start.

Got up early Monday, cleaned up the boat, re arranged the garage and we were off to launch.

Back to empty lots and empty lakes for Monday Funday!!

Ran to Topock for lunch and some swimming. Even the best beach in the gorge was empty!!

Topock lunch was great. Hung out for a bit and then ran back down to the gorge and hang out on the sandbar for a bit.

Little guy got tired and decided to pass out on the way back.

We headed to the channel, beached for a bit and just chilled, enjoying the peace and quiet.


Little guy finally woke up and we were pushing him on his boogie board out to the middle of the channel and skipping rocks. He was having a blast!!


Ended the day with a great dinner at Angelina's and in bed by 8pm.
