Home made, medium with a Louisiana Hot Link butterfly'd, grilled and on top of the patty. Hasn't been beat yet.

It might actually kill YOU. Last time I ate there in Ontario I got food poisoning from that nasty ass joint. Never again! Actually felt like going back three days later and taking a flamethrower to that place.

Another chain here is called Earls. They are known for having hot waitresses. Pamela Anderson was an Earls waitress before she was discovered. They also own a chain called Cactus Club, also makes a decent burger. But I mostly go for the waitresses.

Original Tommy’s Burger if you want a chili burger. Original in L.A. is the best.

So I went to SC and joined a fraternity in 1974. During Hell Week we did “Ghetto Runs” in the early mornings from the house on 28th street to Tommy’s. 4.5 miles each way. When we got there it was down a double chili cheese then run back to the house.

Learned to love Tommys but also needed to know where the men’s heads were on campus later that day.

The Royalle Burger at Oinkster is a heart attack maker, but it tastes so good. A big ass cheeseburger with pastrami and chili. Good stuff.

Rodeo Burger in Norco is a good spot to get lunch if your in the area. Bacon avocado cheese burger.

I second Rodeo Burger...

Quick in BHC= I like Culvers
Quick in The IE = In N Out or Burger Basket Corona

Believe it or not... Bubba Gump in Laughlin makes a good burger too.

In Oahu where I live (Kailua, HI) - Teddy’s Bigger Burger. Their burgers come in three sizes ; big 1/3lb, bigger 1/2lb, biggest 1lb.
I usually order the big. I’ll either order the “Kaneohe” which is a garlic burger, bacon, avocado, cheddar, with their special sauce and lettuce. My other order would be the “Kilauea fire” which is bacon, onion rings, cheddar, Kilauea fire BBQ sauce.

Back in my hometown, Norco.
In-n-out. Double double or 3x3, grilled onion, chopped chilies, lettuce, sauce.
Five guys. Double, cheese, grilled onion, mushrooms, ketchup, mayo.

Home burgers.
My wife makes a killer in-n-out copy! My second favorite that she cooks for me is a burnt cheddar burger. I love burnt cheese and I love burgers so it’s a perfect match! Cook it on a cast iron skillet, first put down a generous layer of shredded cheddar, next to that place your patty and smash it down, once the cheddar has a nice bottom crispy layer (about the same time the first side of the patty is cooked), you’ll scoop up the patty and place the cooked side on top of the cheese, flip the whole thing over to cook the raw patty side which will allow the rest of the cheese to melt over the patty. The second patty is plain with no cheese.
Whip up some delicious siracha aioli sauce. Coat top/bottom of toasted bun. Put both patties on bun with the burnt cheese side up and dig in!! Oh ya, I’ll also have a second single layer burger haha I love burgers!

Pictures do no justice, plus you can’t taste the picture haha

All solid. There is a TK burger in MV as well.

I really like pastrami cheeseburgers at The Hat... If you are really hungry or want a coronary, order it with chili.

Habit has a good pastrami burger as well, but not all locations serve pastrami.

The Hat Pastrami Burger is nails.

If around Sherman Oaks: Blue Dog Tavern. Incredible Burgers and Fries. They have a maple bun, bacon/egg burger that is crazy good. Skin-on fries. Great little spot at the bottom of the 405 coming down into the Valley.

Step one, raid your grandmother's house/ thrift store for a hand grinder

Step 2 go to the store and buy a Chuck roast.

Step 3, grind it and immediately put it in a cast iron skillet.

Salt pepper a slice of onion and chesse is all it needs. Do not add any of that other crap. You don't need it.

Step 2b; ....buy enough lean pork loin so it makes about 20% of your ground meat mix. :)

My only complaint about Fatburger here is price. My order bacon cheeseburger combo with a beer is almost $20. You can eat at a regular sit down restaurant for that!

So with all my years of eating burgers the best i have found is at longbranch bar and grill the only problem is that it is 1200 mile drive to get to Hawk Springs WY It is literally in the middle of nowhere.

Tried a burger from New York Deli in Torrance after eating sandwiches there forever. @rvrrun was right bomb just like the sandwiches.

When in Parker the best is Safeway $10 for 10 patties. With pepperjack. Grill yourself. Tried the pepperjack burger at the springs Saturday it was alright.

Love this place, we hit the one in Northshore (was our first experience with Teddys and as a tradition only go there... THIS is legit. Kilauea Fire BBQ is awesome, its one of my customers on HNL that makes it (Hawaii Chip Co).

The one at NY deli reminds me of the Marie Callendars burgers when I was a kid. Huge and messy.

The only other one in our area I can add to the list is Keegan's Pub. It's simple, big, great bun and always cooked perfectly. They have great stark fries and ranch, but their potato salad has to be tried at least once.

...and while not a burger, try the Irish Club sandwich at Keegan's as well. Corned beef, pastrami, thousand island and topped with Cole slaw.

Surprised to see Keegans on the list. Use to work with the owner. Have not been there for a few years. Used to be hit or miss when I was a regular there and my buddy was still a partner. I see Keegan at Lowes often he went from bar owner to contractor.
