Stay safe everybody

It's making its way towards me. Lighting, thunder, wind, and barking dogs.

It was really bad. I think the rain may have snuffed it

Had a great little show with about an hour and a half of rain here in Mesa. Been a dry August.

About noon today we had a good rain, hail and wind. Not much lightning though.
About 9pm, lots of lightning over the Badshaws...not good, don't know if there's rain. We already have a fire burning N NW of Prescott that was caused by a strike.

Was out back watching the show and then all of a sudden a fire popped up in Tonto Forest towards Seven Springs not to far from here. Friggin winds are blowing straight at us and ligting hitting all over. No rain which is a major problem. Can smell the smoke now

This is in the N N Scottsdale AZ area

Hoping this calms down now..............

Send me an Italian sub from Guidos....Scottsdale and Shea!:D

We had some boomers here in southern Utah yesterday and last night. Hate it when there is a close hit when I'm sleeping, hell of a wake up call. A few years ago we had a hit about 35 feet from my house at 2:30 in the morning......amazing how fast you can move when that happens

Is that the fire that shut down the 17 last week?

Sheridan fire burning in the Camp Wood area west of Williamson Valley. Started August 5, lightning strike. Second strike nearby a couple of days ago. First pic is storm clouds building over Prescott Valley. Second pic is Sheridan fire west of our house. Third pic is fire growing and smoke coming over the house. I turned 180 and took the last pic of monsoon in Chino Valley.

No, this is out more south of Seligman. If you drew a line from Prescott to Seligman, about 20 miles north of Prescott They are "Managing" this one...watching it burn as long as it stays away from houses. The problem is there are some bigger cattle ranches out there. Those guys have lost a lot of grazing already.

Wow! RDP boots on the ground reporting;) I'm on the far east side of the valley. Been watching the plume change day to day.

I went and picked up my boat yesterday and the detail guy came to the house and got it about half done. He’s finishing this morning. I couldn’t believe it when the wind and rain started last night. No cover on the boat and it’s super clean. I didn’t want to put the cover on because the interior is clean and the cover is dirty. Now the boat is soaked, although I’m sure it will dry out quickly in the Phoenix heat.
