on the road between vidal and parker coming from yucca valley, there was a dust storm with zero visibility and my girlfriends truck got sandblasted bad and we almost got taken away by one of the road floods, were stopped with more than 50 cars and cops here because of a huge flood and i saw people getting out with flashlights like they are looking for someone that got taken away by on of the floods, been sitting here an hour at least

It was like a hurricane on the lower river between Parker and Blythe last night. Power is out since about 10, sideways rain, patio furniture is gone, awnings tore off, trees down...it’s a mess.
Generator is running the AC though.

Saw on Instagram the houseboat sank at nautical. Boats sideways and backwards on beaches.

Houseboat broke loose and caused some damage.

Also, fired up this morning. Jumped on RW and someone is posting folks caught in the storm had fair warning and should of known better. WTF, way to hit someone when they are down. Had to leave that page before responding again and read posts from a community of boaters on RDP (not counting the Asian hack this morning).

We had dinner at the springs, chased the sunset back to havasu, had the boat in the slip by 730pm. We watched the lightning on the horizon over the mountain ranges, knowing that it was gonna be hitting. When I looked at weather app, it had severe weather warning and flash flood notifications. It’s showed 100% chance of rain and within an hour the wind started blowing hard, could smell rain and I passed out like hammer does on the couch. Woke up several times to see light show and some crazy loud thunder. Awake this morning to bar stools and trash cans knocked over.

Heading down to check on the boat, I have not seen or heard of any damage at marina, yet.
