All new merc racing motors come with DTS and it is included in the price.

??

300r can be ordered DTS or mechanical. And 250r is mechanical only.

Great numbers for today! Almost 1000 rpm left [emoji1303][emoji1303]

Can that hull be rigged with an i/o set up?

Edit: might be the wrong thread to ask. Can't keep up with all of the 35' posts.

The mechanical still actuates electronically on the 300r.

Looks like you had Nick Peterson and another guy I recognize on board.
Nice Job @Bullhead bully.
Take care of my cheeseheads out there....

I need em around here too....:D

Engine packages do NOT include rigging in the price for the engine.

The power steering system, electrical harnesses, etc WILL cost you an additional 3-4k above and beyond the price of the engine.

To say that a particular engine is "DTS" doesnt mean it comes with the $1000 dts shift and throttle lever. They dont just toss it in the crate.

Go see your dealer for pricing if you're serious about a rerig. There's lots of information being tossed around in this thread. Not all of it is accurate.

Having gone through this process less than 4 months ago, I'd like to say I'm fairly familiar with the process.

Not an expert by any means, but not exactly a layman anymore either.

With the exception of steering wheels....

No one ever mentions the coin to make gauges work. The cabling required to connect a shift and throttle lever, whether it be a panel mount or a racing version.
The 4 hose helm required for a verado. Not a single component from a 2 stroke will work for a new 4 stroke.

It's all part of the 3-4k on top of the cost of the motor. Just don't want folks considering a repower to have any misconceptions.

It's all worth it in the end. Just hate to have surprises is all.

I agree, but another 3 letter named builder has a 450R hull that should have hit the water so details should be coming. Only time will tell...

From who? Show your cards and see if the competition can step up to the plate.

You do realize, until setup is dialed most mfg’s don’t say anything.
Once setup is fine tuned, the right cruising props and top speed props are identified and those 450’s are past break-in period, BB will post how it ran. Until then, it is a science to get the setup fined tuned.

Hell, it has already been posted how it ran the first time it hit water. That is more data then any other mfg has released.

Yeah it ran 96 knots first time in the water :)

I agree totally with you and the way this set up has been upfront from the get-go. It definitely isn't mandatory for any of these manufacturers to be this transparent, but I think it is good for business though.

Sorry still makes no sense to me.

When Nordic cracked 126 and the other guy hit 129 we / you knew right away.
Then Nordic built a missile for me and we slammed down the hammer once and for all at 130 a year and a half ago.
And you knew right away.

And now ........... ?

I can’t keep up with all the 450 info. Anyone know what does the Nordic 35 run with the 400’s?
What’s the fastest cat over 30’ run with 450’s?

No. The bar is right where it should be. Everyone’s seen at least 6 mph faster with 450s so that’s right In line.

Looks like the non-carbon version of the 33 with 400’s ran 120. I’m sure acceleration and getting on plane are much better with the 450. Seems like a lot of $$ for a few MPH.

No doubt it’s more money! However the engineering and hand workmanship in these three-year +5 years equaling eight year total warranty motors. It’s outstanding. I Got to see inside and some of the Engineering they did.

Truly outstanding modern marvel !!!!!

I’m guessing in the right conditions it will run 130+ when they figure out the setup, for a 100hp increase that would be a decent gain. To me the 450s aren’t worth the almost double price compared to the 400s, but if money wasn’t a problem I would for sure have the 450s lol

Not so sure. That is a 33’ boat. Great number for that setup and it’s not done yet.
The new Nordic is 35 (much bigger boat) and most likely will run higher.

A better comparison will be the 35 Nordic against the 37 DCB that is still in development.

What did the MTI run? Didn’t it run 123 at LOTO in the shootout? I think how the Nordic performs compared to the DW 36 would be a great comparison.

128 is what they stated at Nashville with the Merc Racing 340X.

What does each boat weigh? Comparing the size of a boat doesn’t mean much if they aren’t close in weight

It’s a Nordic thread, I didn’t come here to read what the BRO Boats claim to have ran. Bully’s new ride is one badass machine that’s what this thread is about. That and me dreaming of getting a ride hahahahaha.
