Seems to be a pretty cool system and definitely moves suspension into the 21st century. Wonder how much it will cost.

Does this also come on the new 300 HP (actually 225HP) new Speed 4 seat SXS for $32k?? Asking for a friend.

lol sounds like it'll still pull 300 as long as you run race gas?

Doubtful for $32k. They insinuated that configuration is “not production”.

300 HP through 999 cc isn’t going to last long.

To put that into perspective, a Bugatti Chiron only makes 184 HP per liter. With a smaller engine you can make more HP/liter obviously, but Robby Gordon has not beaten physics... not for $32k anyway.

Yeah definitely not, I would still be interested in a production, 72" turbo XX based 2 seater in a few years.

1L and 300 hp...It’ll be laggy as hell and have a 500 rpm band where it makes all of its power.

IMHO

Now think about 1.4L at 500 HP... No thanks. Probably great in the dunes at full throttle, and that is about it.

Tein had this same thing for coilovers on cars back in the day. Will be interesting to see how it holds up. Neat product.

All the shock company's are working on this type of technology. A buddy of mine works for Brock Heger, he said they have tested some cool stuff.

500 is very streetable on a turbo 1.4. My turbo Busa is at 525 to the wheel and very predictable. I just have a 2 inch longer swing arm. I got my inspiration from this guy when I had my first Busa back in 1999. Now I have a Naturally Aspirated and a Turbo Gen 2.

300 hp from a 1 liter is very rideable too. The new technology is light years ahead. This guy has a 1 liter GSXR. Very reliable and a lot of fun.
I’ve rode it and it’s exactly what it says in the ad.

Agreed... but we are talking in a SXS with a CVT which will help keep the thing in the powerband, but is a weak link. Add in dirt, lots of heat and load and 2000 lbs.

Oh I see, was wondering about the CVT.

I'm assuming CVT here, as nothing else was mentioned about a sequential box.

It will drive fine.. But other than flooring it in the dunes, that is a crazy amount of power that you really can't even use on most trails. My NA 1000 is 115 Hp or something.. I drive pretty quick and rarely floor it.

And going 100 in one of these things without a full race preped car is asking to die... So you are talking 300 HP to get to 80 ish? It will be fast!

You’re on a bike though.
It takes very little power to get things moving.

Quadruple the weight and things change for the worse.
