Based on what I’ve gathered being a member of RDP, it appears my son is towing too much with his Raptor and is towing too fast. As a parent I’m unsure how to best address this delicate issue so it does not turn into unsafe behavior down the road.

unhook the trailer from the tow rig.

take the tow rig into the garage and put a heavy fishing weight in it. tie a string to it, about 12 feet long to the back of his bicycle. or trike. and tow that thing all over the neighborhood. especially fun slinging it into curbs and watch it crash.......

so much fun back in the day of being a kid.

He also has the axle set to far back for the load on the trailer and it’s possible he may experience binding or damage if he turns with the tailgate in the down position.

Possibly the most sensitive issue could be his mix match color choices. Choosing for your team apparel to be sea foam green when your tow rig is red and you have a black and orange and a blue and black SXS shows a real lack of design guidance for the young fella.

I have no suggestions for you but it looks you have your work cut out for you.:)

Everyone here knows that unless a trailer has 3 axles it’s not setup to tow safely

Dad, better get him six of these scales. He looks way over weight on the rear axle. Gotta weigh it. Might need to start studying for his class A. I see one of the above trucks are in his future.

Your son just needs to keep the 2 sxs’s In the rack storage and then he won’t need to tow anything.....

i'd definitely clown him for driving a Ford, then after that I'd take him down to Chaparral and buy him a PW50 and remind him that only old fat men and girls carrying your sandwiches and beer ride in SXS's

Definitely no air bags. I would put Sumo springs on it and call it a day.

He needs to spend thousands on getting it to handle and tow properly. 5 star tune, new sway bars, sumoto springs and 19.5wheels. Then sell it 2 weeks later saying he made a mistake and don’t need multiple vehicles and needs to simplify his program.

Only to buy the same dam thing a week later.
