We watched the new owners tow the Howard away. I actually did better with this one than the last boat we sold. We made a crap ton of great memories on this boat and are excited for new adventures!!

Congratulations to the Hill family!!

I saw them turning on to the highway this morning, and thought that was yours.

We talked with several owners today and got to look around at a couple. Wife is sold, so that is all that matters......everyone we talked to said they love their 22's.

Those decks look way bigger than 22' .. Alot of room on those boats.

Congrats. I’m actually getting close to doing the exact same thing. Shockwave with the 300R is at the top of the list.

Looks like Matt's rig. Recall he was interested when you thought about selling it last go round. Wife is Stacies friend from way back.

Yea the squared off front makes for a lot of room.

@OldSchoolBoats

For the outboard deal do they push the rear seat back further Joe?
If so the areas behind the front seats might be good for storage or coolers, or an extra pair of seats.

Why did you decide to go with shockwave over Tahiti?

Resale!! J/K.

Not to answer for Joe but the Shockwaves seem to have higher end trim and gel finishes, but that comes at a higher cost.

I’ve seen both and that was just my opinion. They both look like perfectly fine boats.

Yes, we are going to cut the hatch in half, push back the seat and do a U seating arrangement.

Man Joe I love that Howard! It was one of the best looking boats out there! I wouldn't have been convinced to sell it for a 22' deck. ;)

It was great seeing you and the family on saturday Joe. We had a nice lil turnout for the regatta. After your boat is built the next best thing is our lil shockwave family! We all have a blast together! Cant wait to see the build and the 300r package is awesome on that boat!

It's gonna be a great boat with the 300r. Make sure to get a hydraulic jackplate and tabs. It will make it very versatile

How many of the 22’ decks been OB powered? I don’t think many, really want to be in the testing/setup phase?

I hope it meets your expectations.

What is the projected speed with the 300r?
Kinda funny. When I was buying my Nordic I asked about putting twins on it vs a blue motor and I was poo-pooed. Maybe I was just ahead of the trend:cool::D:p

How about when all 7 of you are in it? Any weight in the front of mine makes a big difference.
We will just have to see what it does. We will probably be running our normal, 45-50 for the most part, but will be nice to have the punch when we need it.

You run Havasu or Parker? That nose seems awfully close to the water for weekend water.

I really dig the wake boats, but they are just too big, too slow and too expensive. If I was going to spend wake boat money, I would build a Howard VTX.
