May 15 miles or so.Based on the map that is pretty far out in the desert from the 40.
Another exit east on the 40.Also nearby is another track... wonder when the last time chrysler had a car they needed to test?

Are there SxS trails that go over the mountains? I see vehicles that go up to the big antennas up there.
Might be a cool trek over there.
They test out there 24/7. I have friend that drove cars last year and another that man's the ambulance. He sit there for 3 days straight and has put on 1 bandaid in 2 years. But they can't drive anything with them there. Also nearby is another track... wonder when the last time chrysler had a car they needed to test?

Last I knew that was a Ford test track, but that was over ten years ago. They test out there 24/7. I have friend that drove cars last year and another that man's the ambulance. He sit there for 3 days straight and has put on 1 bandaid in 2 years. But they can't drive anything with them there.
I zoomed in on the white colored area and could see heavy equipment.Looks like it's hard to see from the ground level. But from a satellite in space, it appears to be very apparent. One might even say a kind of petroglyph-ish?
What's the different colored soil in the center of the track. It looks to have been heavily Disturbed. Like maybe even something crashed there?
Chrysler took it over some time ago.Last I knew that was a Ford test track, but that was over ten years ago.
Off roaded to this place a few days ago, looks like they repaved the track recently. No sign of any new building developments on the site, no new signs or advertising.
Pretty sure he said it ran into the typical roadblocks. While on the subject of Havasu area race tracks.
Anybody up on the latest on the Summitkarl Franconia Drag Strip project ??
