Fuck me, broke my laptop screen this morning.

Had to do a panic stop this morning in the company truck after I had some one pull out in front of me. Had my bag on the seat, it went onto the floor. Just got home to review the next projects plans. Sure enough cracked screen. Had it for 6 years, screen is only $40. Really debating on ordering it... I don't really feel like shelling out $1000 on a new laptop right now.

I've replaced many screens on laptops. Fairly easy. Almost every screen I replaced fit multiple laptops so look for one in the best condition. Laptops are like snap-together model cars. Figuring out where the little tabs are so they don't break is about the hardest part. I always used the thinnest edge butter knife in the drawer.

Get on your horse and head over to a local store. They sell these things called flat screen monitors. You can get one at a low price. Put it in your saddlebag and ride it home.

Dropped my Microsoft Surface Pro yesterday. If you haven't seen one, it's essentially a tablet with a keyboard.

Let me know if you have any advice on how to fix the screen when the screen is also the "laptop."
