What type of dirt biking? Mountain single track stuff?
He has a place at Havasu Springs and rides over there. He also is a runner. He is a mechanic by trade and runs a small auto repair shop.

I was going to say I like my Klim gear for riding sleds and bikes but I doubt you could get it that fast. Expensive stuff but the gloves are really good.

A little more than you have for your budget. My son mountain bikes all over the world. Got him the better version of this one for about $400. This one is just as good but doesn’t have the topography. Piece of mind if anything goes wrong. I’ve had to bail him out in the mountains once when his tires were slit by rocks. His phone did not work, this did.

I run mine every time we ride our dirt bikes down in Mexico.... I will not go anywhere south without it anymore. It’s incredible how secure it makes you feel knowing there’s always a lifeline in such a helpless area.

Absolute overkill for anyone who isn’t off the grid but never the less a great piece of mind.

yep

My son and his friends ride a lot of desolate areas. Cell phones don’t work. This is a piece of mind just in case something were to go wrong. He doesn’t have it mounted on the bike. Has a another unit with the GPS. Keeps it in hs small backpack for emergencies

It's not an overkill when you take a fall and you have no cell signal..... A lot of spills in the desert with cell signal and the next thing you know you are 10' from the top of a hill that may have signal. Just saying from experience that cell service is great then you take a fall in a wash and find out you have no cell signal.

well that’s obvious but then again that’s why you don’t ride alone unless you’re not planning on making it back :)

Gas gift card

Speaking of gas... I’m in South Dakota this week and it’s only 2.47 per gallon :)

Spot is a good safety net, i know a lot of people that go riding on bikes and don't like to wait. I go out alot by myself because of my schedule and timing, last week I had to catch up to the group I had a run planned with because something at work came up and I had to check it on Saturday. I didn't want them to wait wait so I caught up with them.

If he was a motocrosser back in the day . . . https://tmccorentals.com/ Tom can hook up as many guys as you have for a day of riding old Maicos, Huskys, Yamahas etc. He has very clean, well maintained machines, lots of gear, and will pamper you all day making you feel like a sponsored rider with lunch and wrenching as needed.

I’m 63, enjoy boating, waterskiing and ride dirt bikes. I also have a younger very hot girlfriend with a strong sex drive. A good gift that really helped me was a prescription for Cialis.

And some Motrin.

I can, and do, ride all day. Raced at Glen Helen last weekend and will next weekend too. But just 4 or 5 runs down Snow Summit and my quads will burn for days. I think my snow skiing days are over without some serious gym time to get my legs back in better shape.

I throw down Motrin before and after a round of golf. :D

Interesting choice considering it’s marketed to women [emoji90][emoji4]
(There are literally no men at all shown on their website)

Yeah I know it’s just ibuprofen...LOL

Does he drink? Bottle of the best Vodka (Crystal Head Vodka?) or Bourbon? Most successful guys by 60 have everything they want. A good bottle or box of good cigars (if he smoke them) is always great.
