One had to be a wizard to ride those 3 wheelers after years of 2 wheel motocross bikes!!

I’ve done that. That rear tire really climbs your leg!:D Plus I am a charter member of the road rash club. I still remember nurse Ratched with the scrubby and the yellow antiseptic getting out all the pebbles. :p

Still have my '83 250R. Lots of rashes and a broken collarbone. I'm sure with a gallon of gas and 3 or 4 kicks it will fire right up after sitting for 8 years.
Hell yes it will!
I had an 83, got it in the beginning of 85 when people started dumping them for the new “water pumper” :D
I think it was $900, lol
With the +2 swing arm, the helper springs shoved into the forks, and the Honda 300 top end kit, it was a beast!

And, RD...it had a 6 pack rack too! :)

Broke my foot in 3 places on that thing. Good times:)

Well I rode all over Glamis on a 85 or 86 250r 3 wheeler with a 300 kit, but the kicker is I was a little kid sitting on the front of the seat holding on to a gas cap that had little handlebars on it. Of course that was in the 90s, nowadays my parents/grandparents would be crucified lol.

I had a 85 250r with a twist throttle. I would drink several beers and attempt to do 360,s on it and wind up on my back every time. I learned ever so slowly that drinking and 3 wheelers was a bad combo lol !!

I had 86 250R with a ported CR 250 cylinder all top end power, you get it pointed in the direction you wanted to go and hold on, pulled the front wheel up in 3 rd gear sitting forward on the tank 4th I had some steering again I ended up using pro wedge tire instead of haulers as it was more controllable while dunning.
But 3 guys I went dunning with had leaguer 500 3 wheelers 2 cr 500's and one guy ran a KX 500 on nitrous and had to put a piston in it after every trip. I could run have way up Olds before the KX would launch and he would pass me before the top without the Nitrous.
I am now just happy to run my buggy a 2 seat Funco Hustler I bought from Walt

I bought this one a couple of years ago as a nostalgia piece. Reminds me of when I was in high school and had one 250R with a CR500 engine and another 250R with a CT 310 kit. This one has the CT 350 kit. Plenty fast. Never ride it and been toying with selling it. Just sits in the trailer in front of the sand rail that does get used every trip.

I grew up riding ATC's, Friends had 250R's. Never could quite swing the money to buy one.
Just for old times sake, and a minor lack of self preservation I would buy one or two in a heartbeat now. The wife would want stock or four wheels, I would probably be looking at how to get a CR500 into it........

fuuuuuuuuuuck yeeeeeeeees!

I had a Suzuki 250 (baby brother to that) and my uncle had the Quadzilla I'd ride all the time. LOVED that thing, always wanted one. The power and size was just awesome. Cadillac of Quads!

My oldest is now 37.
I got her a Yamaha tri-zinger way back on her 5th birthday.
Today I’d get arrested for that!
Back then...it only got me divorced.
Lol, we got our daughter a Zinger quad at age 3. Ran into a bush(in glamis of all places) within the first 5 minutes. Cried for a minute or two then rode like a pro from then on. By age 8 or so she was on the Banshee.

Loved my 85 250r.. thing was a rocket ship. No idea how we rode those through the dunes. Have to differ on the list though. In Glamis, I had plenty of beer in my backpack on my dirtbike...

Golf cart is the best damn toy I own. Love that damn thing. Took it to pirates den and you can cruise from pirates den bar to roadrunner thru the campground. Then we crossed the street and went to the golf course . Bad ass had the whole place to ourselves .
At home we do our neighborhood booze cruise. Gets used al the time

My kids grew up in Glamis. Too many trips to remember.

Now that they are older, if I'm planning a river trip, the first thing they say is...

When are we going back to Glamis???

I ruined them I guess. :p

I was racing motocross and one of my best friends was not allowed because it was too dangerous. His dad bought him a 250R three wheeler and had him race that instead. Ironic...

We (literally) drive our 6 pas cart more than both our cars combined. It gets used everyday, all day long.

Growing up I wanted a Dune Cycle more than anything in the world!
Never got one, that was way outside what Pops could afford.

I still think it would be cool to have one.

I always wanted a Honda Odyssey. Shit, I STILL want one!

View attachment 809830

When I was a machinist I worked with a guy that had one of those all tricked out. He was an expert driver, and used to test drive and help set up outlaw sprinters for customers as well.
I saw him do things in that Odyssey that was hard to believe. He’d be in a full lock drift, wide open at top speed and slide it right through the shop gate, in the snow, do a couple donuts and right back out the gate and off he’d go, never lifting.
