My wife’s coworker is moving to Texas and sold their dirt and cabin, so I need a new camp.

@deckinaround We stayed at his compound last year. Really cool setup he has there.

We have considered staying in hammer town to take it all in this year but don’t believe we have any solid plans as of yet.

Been to every one, except the OG pre-event. Our group is usually out there for about 11 days. I worked checks for the first few years and helped to mark course, then worked as crew for a friend (who had Jessie Combs as co-driver for two years. What a wonderful person we lost this year) and the last few years just as a spectator. From the first year with probably 75ish motorhomes/trailers on Means to the huge crowds of today, it has been amazing to see how big it has grown.

I am going. Might crew for a friend running the 4600 class. They are building the car now so we'll see. That will dictate how early I go up. I am hoping the weather is nice this year, feels like the past 3-4 years have been horrible in different ways.

I can tell you this. Be. Careful of the sewer pipes at night. they are black and it’s dark out. Not a way to make friends. I found out the hard way.

Com'on I didnt even whine. There were 2 septic stubs in 40 acres, dont make it sound like a viet-kong mine field. Those locations do have water and power hookups now also so you can go for a trifecta this year. Dont mind the concrete filled steel bollards.

I’ll be out there tues to Friday working the 4 Wheel 2 Heal booth in Hammertown. Please come by the booth and at least look at why we are there. We will be hosting 5 disabled/injured service members this year.

A few people have asked what is going on for KOH camping on our property. I will be coordinating with my buddies (land owner partners) when we are all there over New-Years. I would like to say the more the merrier but we aren't quite at that decision yet. A LOT of time and $ has gone into our new kids and adult tracks in the past month and we want to protect them as much as possible from the masses, or mandate that they are off limits for that week. I will keep you all posted, I think an RDP meet would be a good time.... someone kick Dave in the foot and make him get out there this year.

Sweet addition. With my 8yo daughter riding a quad one day she will need a tour.
She will even bring your old trailer so you can see the upgrades
