Was leaving the local Rite Aid today and there was a guy pulling in to the drive through in a Holden Ute!

I saw a white on up by lake Mathews a couple months ago, the guy had a wheelchair in the bed. I’ve also seen a green one with the current front end in AZ last year. Bad ass cars

If available in the U.S. I would buy one in a heart beat. They sold the GTO from Australia, why don't they import these ??

Was probably the same guy, although I didn’t notice a wheelchair.

Badass. Like a mullet. Business up front and party in the back. Ownership of an El Camino with a U-haul hitch is on my bucket list. Tow a jet boat with 4 of my cousins in the cab. Looks like I'll be boating in BHC.

GM closed the Holden factory in 2018, now the Australians only get GM's global chassis cars. Kind of an end of an era.

I’d rock one any day.
6.0 Gm v8
3 pedals
6 forward gears.
Sounds like fun to me.
No idea tow rating but they are supposedly good for a 1,000 payload in the bed. That would do a dirt bike or a quad pretty easy. Or an ATC:cool:

As a kid I always wanted a Chevelle.
As a teen I came to the realization that my ATC addiction and a car wouldn’t jive too well.
So, 69 El Camino it was:)

Remember the Dodge rampage .
My Rampage got a breathed on Shelby Charger turbo motor about a month after getting the truck. Handled like a slot car but I never got the trans programmed to shift at the right times to take advantage of the extra RPM range. Very fun car for a time while my daily driver Super Bee was being finished.

Try to find episodes of the short lived Top Gear AU, they used a ute for the star in a reasonably priced car segment.
