I've had a GM card for years and have used the points when I've purchased my trucks in the past. Unfortunately the new GM trucks (especially the Silverado HD's) just don't do it for me and I won't be getting a new C8 anytime soon so I won't be using any points in the future. I really don't do any flying so bonus miles won't do anything for me, I don't carry a balance so low interest rates don't do anything for me either. Who has the best cash back deal out there right now?

Fixed. My Alaska Airlines/B of A is good for air miles on Alaska and American Airlines, I use those, but you don’t fly so not worth much. I think American Express is pretty good.

Chase Saphire rewards 3p:$1 for travel and dining expenses.

I heard Costco Visa was good too.

Wells Fargo Propel Amex 3p:$1 on travel, fuel, food. $100 cash redemption for every 100k points. For all other purchases, Visa Cash Rewards. 1.5p:$1 spend and same redemption ratio as the Amex. There are all kinds of gimmicks and programs, but I don't need to be thinking about all that crap. Two cards with pretty decent rewards with the bank I keep my money at keeps things simple.

We ghosted our GM card too. Might b buying a 2021 F350 Tremor.

I fly all over for racing so the chase SW visa works awesome for me. Points for flights to TX. More money for race car parts.

I use 2.

For business, I use an AMEX business card that I average between $300.00 to $500.00 per month cashback. Some airport lounge access as well.

For personal, I use a Chase Marriott card. I usually stay 50-75 nights at Marriotts per year, so it works out good. Access to executive lounge, upgrades etc. make it nice.

I use 2 Quicksilver Visas with 1.5% cashback. One is tied to all utilities, insurance, ect that will take plastic. This is just encase its lost or stolen I don't have to reestablish the auto-pays again. Shoot, I don't even know where this card is as I don't carry it.

The other is my daily card that I could care less about.

I average about $750-1000 cash back a year as I use it for everything. Even a .25 item at a gas station. Generally we use it for something fun as its free money as I look at it.

I do a Wells Fargo visa. 1% goes towards my principal on my mortgage. I pay any and everything I can with this cc. Paid off monthly, it has put a huge dent in our amount owed.

Ive got the Costco Visa, never noticed the miles. I think I just got a notice they are cancelling the current one and issuing a new one on a new bank. Not sure.

Can you use a cc on mortgages? I’ve got 3 and would make a killing with nearly 2% cash bofa card

If you travel and stay at hotels, go with Marriott Chase card. Some of the intro offers include 100,000 point sign ups. I am Titanium level, get most all food and rinks free at higher end hotels, breakfast, etc.
