Popped my cherry today.

HAVASU Cherry!

Took the Miller out for a spin.
Launched at the State Park (Windsor?)
Cruised south first, then north through the channel, then raced around a little bit, then back on the trailer at the State Park.
Didn’t want to stray too far considering the boat hasn’t been wet in 2 years.
All went well, did 82 MPH a couple times. No leaks, no misses, no problems.

Finally got it in the water!
Last days off got the hull numbers painted, bunch of little odds and ends like going through all the bolts and crap. Oil changed, timing reset etc.

Did get a lot of compliments on it at the ramp today, which kind of surprised me.
Even the pay booth lady said “I Love your boat!” when I drove in.
So that’s cool.

It is kind of cool for a jet bote.

Guys always look at the engine like “holy shit!” It looks like a wide tall deck because of the Brodix heads and covers. The raised exhaust spreads the headers a bit more also.
So the engine looks like a lot more than it really is.

I thought about the phone versus a video camera as soon as I made the post...
Most of this video was shot on seven cylinders ...plug wire...which led to head gasket...ouch...
