I just jumped off I-35 at Emporia Kansas topped off the fuel tank for cheap, and grab a bite to eat.

87 unleaded was 2.29

El Reno is probably a better place to stop than Amarillo...unless Amarillo got some upgrades in the past few years. Weather up and over Flagstaff is supposed to be high 60's tomorrow...pretty calm as well. Don't know about Winslow side.

Enjoy counting all 378 mile markers of New Mexico...to me, that was always the hardest stretch

As far as trailer hitch security goes, I have one of these. I like it because you can open it with a little key and don't need a pair of wrenches. Not sure how well it would fare against a good hammer though.

That's adorable... I wonder how it would fare getting blasted with salt spray and Road grime....
I've had all of those little trinket locks...
They get rusted solid before you can even imagine.

LOL mine certainly hasn't been tested to that extreme. I think the majority is stainless steel and the lock mechanism is protected by a rubber cap.
