Why is this guy behind bars.
Why wasnt he charged, cuffed, and dragged off the field.
You hit someone in the head with a hard weapon on the street youre going to jail for assault.
What a POS.

It takes 2 to tango... Maybe Rudolph will think twice before starting shit on the field again, he dug his foot into Garrett’s groin while trying to remove his helmet first... Was getting hit with his own helmet a bit over the top? Sure, but all of the outrage is excessive, league is getting too soft for its own good. Wouldn’t have even been a story 30 years ago.

You should watch the video and not the still shot. The point where Rudolph's right foot was anywhere near Garrett's groin was when it was quiet obvious that Rudolf was trying to push Garrett away. Garrett actually already had a hold of Rudolf's helmet at that point. Not the other way around.

And actually, Garrett should've been flagged for his hit and laying on top of Rudolph, etc. THAT's what started the BS

You mean long after the ball was gone where he picked up Randolph and tossed him like a rag doll to the ground?

i can see why Randolph was upset

the way I see it Garrett got pissed and retaliated against Randolph’s retaliation of Garretts initial cheap shot slam to the turf. How dare he !!

He still wouldn't have gotten clocked with his helmet had he not charged back in. Plenty of blame to go around here.

The NFL generally does not care what started what. Retaliation is just as punishable as the initial offense...and in some ways more punishable because the refs sometimes miss what “started it”.
It doesn’t matter how “upset” Rudolph was about the hit, or that the hit was late, and a blatant roughing.

Rudolph retaliated and should have been dinged no different than all the players that retaliated after that, if not to the extent of some of the penalties handed out.

& where would this be IF rhat hard plasti helmet, wielded with force, malicious intentto do harm, crushed his skull and killed him instantly on the field.
He dropped dead bleeding from his head.
Would we be discussing a fine ? The fact that the other guy wasnt hurt has nothing to do with the action made.
