Pet peeve 1005..... dual exhaust

I have yet to see an aftermarket dual exhaust setup where they are even per side usually one side is higher then the other. Do people not care?

Dual exhaust is almost as “Mexican” as stick on chrome fender vents. i don’t understand why anyone would do that.

Oddly, our 435i has dual exhaust, factory, and it has a valve that routes exhaust through only one side under certain conditions, warming up the cats, etc.

That's funny, just yesterday I was behind a 435 and noticed the left tip was clean but the right was blackened.

The 335/435s have a butterfly valve. Exhaust only comes out of one pipe during start/warmup to quiet the higher idle.
