A strange email about a “trial deposit”? I’m sure is a scam or some kind of error. The lines must be jammed, rings a couple of times & cuts off.

Very well could be. However, we switch to an Amazon locker (pick-up at the UPS store 1 block from my daughters swim team practice pool) during the Christmas season

I received that email related to one of my bank cards. Likely some sort of scam.

At Synchrony we take customer satisfaction very seriously. We are writing to inform you one or more emails or text messages you may have received from Synchrony regarding “a trial deposit has been successfully made” or “action required on your application” on Monday, November 25 was sent in error.

This was an internal error at Synchrony and did not involve a data breach or fraudulent activity. We have confirmed none of your personal data was compromised. We apologize for the error and regret any concerns this may have caused. We are taking action to ensure this cannot happen again.

Please disregard the e-mail or text message and no further action is required.

I got one as well. What’s your take on this? Do you believe personal info was not compromised?

I got one from them and Synchrony for my amazon card.

I think they were hacked but the emails says it was an internal error or something. I had to verify my device/phone before I signed in again. And I noticed every time I look at my cart now I have to sign in again.
