I made the mistake on going there during the turkey week almost 15 years ago, the drive home was the longest I have ever had, I should have stayed a couple more days but I had to work.

We are expecting possible snow on Turkey day here in Vegas. it is 45 now, going to 39 tonight, high Friday will be 44.

I think you’ll be fine. I’m leaving tomorrow at 4am and coming home Saturday late morning. I’ve done your schedule and left 6am on TDay and it was smooth sailing eastbound.

Yrars ago, 20+ last minute plans the wife, daughter and I went to Laughlin on Thanksgiving morning and it was smooth sailing the whole way.
The following year we went again on Easter morning and there was literally no one on the road. We were in the wifes Lexuit cruising down the 40 and my daughter said dad are you really doing a 105mph. Seemed like I was doing 55.
