Meanwhile, behind the cheddar curtain,
The snow has melted, the channel and lake by my place is all wide open.....

Move to California for the "weather" they said....

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

I find this extremely funny, as I look out at my snow covered field. The 40 was open briefly, but shutdown for another wreck.

I blame this on Hula...like some Brady Bunch talisman...he brought that weather and left it here:p

We had a similar drive yesterday, but also were first on scene of a head on accident going through CRIT. We usually go Rice, but it was closed. Ended up being a long eventful trip.

Always an adventure;)
Most roads out of our area were closed. Our Turkey Day was supposed to be tomorrow. Instead, I just went full "Cool Hand Luke" on deviled eggs...Waste not, want not:p:p:p

Never realized how much of a grade el cajon is in the 8 until today.

Weather and wind can be a pain as well.
I have gone from upper 60’s at Superstition and before I hit SD, I drove through wind (gusts up to 50), rain, hail, fog and snow. All in the same trip. Was so worn since I was pulling my ToyHauler, I took Monday off.
