I did 190 on cajon blvd. beside the 215 frw up near glen helen,(was always my test grounds).once on my tuned Zx14. What you don't realize at that speed, when you are on a kinda old crappy road that the asphalt has cracks and has risen up like 3/4” at the edges, are like tiny jumps, a couple of times I was airborne , like 3/4” off the ground, and at 190, you travel a whole lotta feet in a second, my but puckered something fears. I’m all tucked in, and get out of it, then made another mistake, satup , the goddamn wind nearly tore me off the bike.

I pinned my 600 back in college. 156 was the number. Needed a bigger bike.

Cool story. I have a similar one.

First night I took out my ZX14 to play with the Boys, we GPS'd 199 on the 17 coming back into Phoenix, at night. Yep, 1mph short of the 200mph Club. Whatta Rush. But not pre running the Freeway and doing that sort of speed is fucking nuts. Not sure the Human Eyes can pick up debris @ 190+ under Freeway lights. And like you said, the closing speeds are fucking huge. Good way to get smoked.
