M5? That sounds like the guy who previously beat it. Pretty sure he ran with night vision and a kill switch to his brake lights

Look up Vinwiki on YouTube, the owner held the record that was just broken. There are lots of videos on the cannonball run and other coast to coast races. Some of the stuff these guys do is crazy.
