I don’t have a ticket nor campsite.

I am finding that out this week. I don’t believe they assigned spaces.. it said we all had to roll in together?

I doubt we’d have to roll in together.
I’ll be there early.

The start... you just line up right?
We will be in the back. Front is a race. Middle is dust. Trails are rough no matter what.
I’d rather hang back, you always catch tons of groups by the 2nd hour

We have a Jeep going, I’m sure they go out last. Won’t be waiting for them but be nice to see them at card stops

You can line up or get there after the main start time and it will be pretty cleared out.

That’s not going to be easy. Maybe I’ll just pull over out of the way near the entrance.

mad have a group meeting at my house on Friday am.. I was gonna call you tomorrow to figure out about what time you think we should arrive in the morning to get our spots etc.. There’s five or six of us camping together.

I got a taco guy coming Saturday night

Riding down to staging ...
Do you want me and Don to meet you at your house or do you want to meet us at that gas station on the south side of town before getting on the highway?

Ok since we are getting closer, @Bpracing1127 and I will have a group of cars. We will meet at the Short Stop gas station (next to the Human Bean) on the far south side of town on the 95 to fill up in the morning and head out. We will try to start towards the front of the pack.

We will take plenty of stops, and everyone can go at their own pace in the group. Since we will be spread out, We will be on a common radio channel, and have a backup channel for the group.

We also have the GPS file of the poker from last year if someone needs it. Can’t say it will be 100% identical, but it will probably be close.

We will list the primary and backup radio channels here, and will be rolling out from the gas station at 6:45 AM sharp. Add yourself to the list if you want to roll with us so we can lookout for you!

Ok everyone we will be LEAVING the gas station at 6:45AM. So get to the gas station around 6:30 AM to top off with gas. This will give those that got in Friday evening time to get their packets, and attend the 7AM drivers meeting if you want to.

You will have some time to grab your packet before the run. Most of us will be doing the same.

RR group tentative with orange group. We may go out towards the back. Play it by ear. After mile 5 it gets spread out so might catch the group at a card stop

Last year after the first card stop I think we were doing at least 1-2 stops between card stops, including stopping at both cabins.

For Primary and Backup radio frequencies we will use - I was thinking Checkers (151.925) as Primary, and Yokohama (153.110) as Backup. These are VHF.

For those of you that have done this in the past in a RZR, did you need additional gas or was one tank enough. I would think the advertised
60-70 miles should be in range?

If you have a Turbo and only go full throttle like my neighbor, you’ll need gas.

If you have a 1000 or a turbo and don’t go full throttle 100% of the time fill up on the south side of town and you will be fine.

@LargeOrangeFont and I were getting Racey at times last year. At one point we were full throttle for a few miles in a wash together. The fun juice was getting sucked down. Total miles from his house was 90 something. I had like a gallon of fuel left. We had a turbo in our group he didn’t even use half a tank but he cruised.

I have done this in a Rhino and made it but I was on fumes lol. You will be fine. Make sure your tank is full. Should something happen search and rescue cleans up the route and helps everyone get back safely. I had to use them on year, very nice people we got back after dark. Broke steering

Wife is coming out straight from working four 12 hour over nighters and will be sleeping in the RV during the poker run with a groggy dog that had some surgery.

So, Ill have an extra seat in the Can Am.

Better regimented than last time we rolled in.
We managed to form a RV circle.
Next year we’ll build an off site camp and roll in for the run.

Polaris started their test rides immediately.
Breathalyzer test for all test drivers.

One goofy thing was the hot dog stand only for those that pre purchased a hot dog in advance. Head scratcher.

Last nights RDP camp party lasted to 2am.
