That’s an acquaintance of mine, John Hice from Panama City, FL. That’s his first run ever with it over a year ago.

He ran it at LOTO, I think it ran 135??? I chatted with him in November at a fun run on the Suwannee River in FL. He’s a really cool guy and always thinking.

Here it is during the aforementioned fun run.

I have seen a few different turbine setups in smaller boats. I think it’s bad ass the owners try something different and see it threw to the end!

As of LOTO 2018, he ran 98.
Didn't qualify, his words, not mine.

I figure with an Arenson drive, 1500 hp, and 300 gallons of diesel fuel, he would (should?) keep up with a ditch pump.

Apparently not.

2019 LOTO results list him at 112, and he personally told me he’s propped for mid 150’s and has had it 135.

Miss GEICO crew chief Gary Stray sold him some parts and gave advice, as well as his FIL Mark Wilson helped with props and advice as well.
