I'd be happy to relieve the new owner of that V6 johnson if it's got compression.
This boat has your name all over it ! Add it to the stable !!You never know these days. Small world happens alot.
Do Johnsons EVER have good compression?
Mine was at 80 before I got rid of it. All the Johnson guys were like, thats fine. Should run great. LOL

Ok nice, I stopped the other day and walked around it, it's definitely got potential. Do you live on that street?Well it's in my backyard now.
Notice I didn't give the street name. How much did you get it for?I do. Close to in n out.
Decent enough price, my parents almost bought on that street at the other end but ended up buying one street north.
If you’re sticking with the Evinrude and it needs anything you can use Al of Al’s Outboard in Havasu. He’s retired but still working them at his home shop in Havasu and really knows his stuff.Needs tlc. The wood is solid.
Congratulations ! It found a good homeWell it's in my backyard now.

I’m not sure, I met him in 2015 when Al Stoker recommended him to freshen up my engine and he was in Havasu. The same Al that was previously in Culver City?
Yes Al Zinc. Moved to Havasu several years ago.The same Al that was previously in Culver City?
How is the project going?Well it's in my backyard now.
Slow. I pulled it off the trailer. 1000 grit the whole boat. Cut and polished it. Came out pretty good for the shape it's in. Cleaned the floor up ready for new carpet. stopped on boat to focus on trailer. Trailer is pretty bad so I sanded it down put a coat of paint on it. changed the axle hubs out and just need it to last a couple years. Soon as it's back on the trailer I'll start rigging. Motor gonna need work. I have a 200 black merc I will be putting on it for now.How is the project going?
