It's here for CES, it was on the news the other day, 1st time it has ever been here for the CES convention.

Also I'm working out in the Northwest area, and they had like 5 planes pumping smoke writing in the sky on circles, it was pretty cool to see, but we couldn't read it as the writing was facing the strip.

That could be because I think this is based in Carson California so they had to pack it up. I have flown that airship it only goes 30 mph that would be a long travel and it doesn’t have that much fuel.

It is based out of Carson, and its been gone for days. Doubt that packed it up for a Vegas trip.

I don’t know what the speed or range is but I have seen it fly over Havasu, it was flying south like it was going from Vegas to Phoenix.

I was working air support division LAPD during the Olympics, and the only aircraft allowed around the Coliseum was government LAPD, the FBI, and one civilian aircraft, YES the Goodyear blimp. I was an all kinds of helicopters from army to LAPD to the Goodyear blimp on and off for five months 12 hours a day six days a week. Loved the Army Hugheys.

For two days I got assigned it to the Goodyear blimp and the pilot said he wanted to use the head (take a smoke) which is in a enclosed compartment at the rear of the airship I think he had a smoke for 30 minutes I flew all way down to Huntington Beach it was a gas!

I asked him about altitude and about anybody hitting us on the approach to Long Beach.

Before we left the San Pedro area he told me “if no one can see us we all have a problem!”! Priceless.

It’s all mechanical no hydraulic fly by real hardwire.

One of my many life experiences that I always cherish.

Drive by the home base in Carson often when I go to HD supply. MB landscape use to be next door but closed up that location now just a empty field next to the blimp lot.

I live fairly close to the original home base - the Goodyear Air Dock. We see the blimp fly with some regularity when weather permits.

Just hope that goofy AOC doesn't see the blimp and figure out what it is......She'll be trying to pass a bill all air travel revert to blimps
