Well it was bound to happen. A resident brought the Corona Virus in from that ship off of San Francisco last week. Went to dinner last night and the place was dead. Not sure if the fear or weather was keeping people away. Either way we are not changing our live at this point. Just watching the wife a little closer with her being on Chemo next week.


BTW, when you watch the video of our governor I know that you are jealous that he is not yours. He bumbles through his interviews as well as Joe Biden. LOL

We are skipping a couple trips over. Not in fear of getting sick, just been an expense I wanted to skip out on till end of year, we will be at Turtle bay for a PipeMasters again this year.

I’m typing this from a chair on my brothers front porch at his big island beach house. I just chased a wild pig out of the yard. Tomorrow it’s Kona for four days then Oahu for four more. I’ve had plenty of Coronas with no ill effects. On a side note the plane was not even 2/3 full. But it was the same way last year too. It really sucks here. Both places we ate yesterday were packed and had a wait.

Last July the wife had. lime sized brain tumor removed. She had to do radiation and chemo for 6 weeks and now chemo for the last 5 months. Next Sunday she sarts the last round. So we are concerned with her immune system being able to handle any type of cold.

We are here now and noticed the same thing. Restaurants were pretty empty in Waikiki and hotels offering upgraded rooms/suites.

Stayed at a hotel in Newberg, Or on Tuesday night. The bartender said it was off season but holy shit. We had 10 in our group. Pretty sure there was only 1 more car in the lot. It was creepy as hell. Felt like we were part of The Shining 2.
