Need some wiring help

Need some help with some wiring. Have an outlet and some recessed lights tied into this light switch. Can anyone help get these back online

Sorry, 1 light switch. It’s tied into an outlet (Romex number one). 3 LED - 4” canned lights (romex #2)

Yes, lowest hanging romex is always hot.

Always hot has to go to the switch, black is switched, wire nut corresponding color with corresponding color throughout the series.

So from what it sounds like your hot/line in is at the light and not in the switch box. So you wire it like this.

If switch has no power probably wiring similar to pick above with receptacle wired in also. No telling I've seen a small box on a remodel can used to splice through hot circuits many a time.

The long romex from the switch is hot. I just need to figure out the sequence to keep the outlet always hot and be able to switch off the lights with the switch. I’ll give l2f’s a shot and see what happens.
My fault. My youngest was helping while i was on a call. I walked him through the last 2 lights. When i was done he said “finished. I have 2 extra wires, do i tie them together”. Oops.
