I heard a RUMOR that some casinos under the Station brand will not initially open, and MAY stay closed permanently when Nevada allows casinos to open back up. Those include Texas Station, both Fiestas and GASP!!!....Palms. I don't have an article or proof of course. 😤 🤣

My opinion is I see a casino owner shuffling (pun intended) once owners have an idea of the volume of customers returning to give up their cash. Just saw another article that MGM is canceling PARKING FEES on strip properties. I expected this and just before the "Rona" hit, strip properties were INCREASING "resort fees". WTF??? HOW MANY WAYS CAN YOU STICK YOUR HAND IN SOMEONE'S POCKET??? I expect to see those fees reduced or canceled all together.

I wanna see some $1.99 STEAK AND EGGS BREAKFAST AGAIN DAMIT!!!!

In my opinion, casinos have nearly priced themselves out of the market and will have to make serious adjustments to bring back customers with far less disposable cash. THIS IS GOING TO BE PAIN FOR THE GAMING INDUSTRY.

On the flip side a bunch of people have another round of checks coming that they don’t need.

Vegas just announced FREE self parking at hotels. They are going to have to do more than that I think.

I know more then I can post.
Penn National, MGM, Caesars, Las Vegas Sands and Boyd Gaming are my customers.

As with any business that has physical locations, those locations that were not profitable or running with a declining profit margin are being evaluated.

So I guess not buying any of their stocks was a good thing.

Pay to park? Not me, then Resort fee, then very tight on Comping Drinks.

They need to reconsider because I heard many complaining way before the Virus deal.

Vegas, Never Learns.

911 = They and the Airlines were Kissing ass and BEGGING people to return and then slowly began the ways to charge.

Maybe this will wake them up?

NO!!

I don't even enjoy going to Vegas casinos anymore. Everything is too expensive (rooms, meals, drinks, cover charges, resort fees, parking, etc...) I don't want to spend a bunch of money for the right to give them a bunch of money at the tables. LOL.

My daughter and her boyfriend work at the little casino by us opening this weekend. They removed every other machine. Place is going to be crazy busy.

Heard the first 3 self parking floors at Viejas Casino here packed today as they re-opened. Pechanga and others are getting ready to open soon as well. Wife has a huge itch to go...

They where going to open in April , but the coochi virus put a stop to that. That place is going to be tight with their winnings for a bit.

I agree with you on the airlines also. I was gonna go on a rant about that a couple weeks ago on here but I was afraid I couldn't stop. Billions in baggage fees alone and buying back their stock and now they need money.

I suspect that we may be seeing a shift to online gambling in the USA brought on by all this. Currently there is some old money laundering laws on the books that the Kennedy administration put in play to curb money laundering through wire transfers by the mob back in the day. The vegas brick and motor model has been running strong and there has never been cubic dollars put in play to lobby this change to allow online gaming here in the states.

Horse racing has been able to do it because of the para mutual format. All this stuff is up and running in Europe, it’s just a matter of getting the government greased up good and flipping a switch and vegas will be in the palm of your hand.

You want to make some money keep an eye on online gambling startups in the states if they get this shit pushed through. Sleeping giant right there ready to roll.

I'd love to hear more about Palms?

It seems like they just dumped a ton of money into that place with a complete redo - are they even done with that project yet?

Do the Fertitta's still own the Station casino's? They had a few Cigarettes that they kept in Dana Point in the mid to late 2000's. One of my friends used to tow their boats to Miami once in a while for them.

The Belle was part of a 3 casino sale last year, the Aquarius, Belle and Edgewater. The Belle has 600 feet of riverfront, don't think for a minute they aren't gonna level it and build when the time is right. It makes no sense to steal customers from yourself with the 3 casinos.

Not to mention the shit ton of upgrades it needs from years of neglect. My company did a bunch electrical work there, and that was just “temporary “.

Speaking about airlines. Shocking to only see one or two planes flying over Havasu in the evenings when normally there's one every 5-10 minutes.

Wife and I were talking about that the other afternoon. They're seriously slacking off on the Chemtrail agent disbursements 🤔 and normally diffused sunlight is brutal ;)
But yeah, it's almost a bit spooky with so few planes above
