I heard a RUMOR that some casinos under the Station brand will not initially open, and MAY stay closed permanently when Nevada allows casinos to open back up. Those include Texas Station, both Fiestas and GASP!!!....Palms. I don't have an article or proof of course.
My opinion is I see a casino owner shuffling (pun intended) once owners have an idea of the volume of customers returning to give up their cash. Just saw another article that MGM is canceling PARKING FEES on strip properties. I expected this and just before the "Rona" hit, strip properties were INCREASING "resort fees". WTF??? HOW MANY WAYS CAN YOU STICK YOUR HAND IN SOMEONE'S POCKET??? I expect to see those fees reduced or canceled all together.
I wanna see some $1.99 STEAK AND EGGS BREAKFAST AGAIN DAMIT!!!!
In my opinion, casinos have nearly priced themselves out of the market and will have to make serious adjustments to bring back customers with far less disposable cash. THIS IS GOING TO BE PAIN FOR THE GAMING INDUSTRY.
