guys
My stock opener remote took a crap.

What brand or model are you using? Or what remotes should I stay away from?

Thanks in advance

If you have a Lift-Master with the “MyQ” symbol, just use the app.
it works great from anywhere, and you can see if the door is up or down, and last time it was opened/closed.

The MyQ about 30.00 on Amazon you can put the app on up to 4 phones and control garage from anywhere. Get alerts if you left open, check status etc very conveinent and no remote to steal from your car and gain access

My suggestion is MyQ as well If you are able. Installed it on my phone for my MIL house on our last visit. Now I don’t have to worry if I have my keys while traveling to the mainland. I just have to have my phone, which I have all the time.

I do NOT have this. This MyQ thing comes with the door opener or is something you can add?

The myq is an app you download to work with smart garage door openers. Screenshot of mine.

Those will only work if you have a Liftmaster/Chamberlain with a purple learn button

Yeah I wasn’t sure what OP had.

Amazon sells a lot of different ones for other brands as well, super cheap.

I’ve had to buy a few for my house flips, distressed homes don’t have shit LOL

Google Genie Universal Remote. There are lots of websites that are selling what you need.

Contact the manufacturer and order new remotes.
Once I close the doors my alarm system takes over and if there is a breech Sheriffs will show up real soon.
What good is an app if you are two hours from home and don't have a signal for your phone?

Program it to your vehicle, but you need a remote to be able to train the channels. I don't have any remotes in my vehicles incase some breaks into them
