I am having it done on my Hallett 270 right now. They came and patterned it today. Doing it over the existing real floor.
You go with the gatorstep or seadek?
Sweet! Now I'm excited to do this. Are you having it installed or doing it yourself?I am having it done on my Hallett 270 right now. They came and patterned it today. Doing it over the existing real floor.

call Chris @ Detail Specialist in Havasu. They have a Solution for those of us with carpet and glass/resin plywood floors.
I have this same question so please post your findings. Most of the responses posted pics of adding it to a boat with a liner. I have carpet over resin/plywood. That is a very different situation vs putting it in a boat that has a liner.
call Chris and talk to him.
They have a solution to fix that problem

Do you know what he does? Can you share or is it a secrete?
I hate calling people to ask about stuff like this when I’m not ready to buy yet - don’t want to waste his time or mine.
That said - I could see me doing it in the future and I have considered having my floors gel coated but would like to save the cost if there is a good option out there???
