Anyone know a trick to getting one of these outdrive locks off without the key? The key is gone.

If you have the original paperwork it will have a key number, you can call the manufacturer and get a new one

Cut the collar off with a dremel and then use a wheel lock removal tool to pull the rest of the lock. I've done it at least a dozen times

Thanks guys. I cut the collar off and then welded a nut to it.

Late to the show, but if you are talking the lock on the six bolts holding drive to gimbal, a 12 pt 3/8” socket hammered on stud will back stud and all out. You can then either reinstall that way or get a new stud to put in.

Scary. What would put you in that position so often? Asking for a friend.
