And that's why I pay so much to live in CA, I've seen exactly zero scorpions in my life.

Seen 3 at different times in the hills around my house, maybe you should move to Oregon, no 🤔 still a little close to scorpions, Seattle definitely no scorpions up that far😉

I've encountered a bear before...a scorpion scares me more.

I wear boots, running into scorpions rarely is an issue. Most bears in the mountains around here are...easily managed. Alaskan bears...nope, I'm good. I'll stick around here in central Az. The critters are even more friendly.

We do the scorpion shake when we get to the river. Any folded blanket that is going to get used gets shook out and then any box or basket on the floor gets picked up and looked under. Find 5-10 a year indoors and see quite a few around the outside.

I found this lil guy under my tent at Glamis a few years ago.

I wonder if there’s racial tension between the brown scorpions like yours and the green ones like mine?🤷‍♂️🤔
Now that thing is fearsome looking.... never saw one that color.... and he's ready to rumble with that tail arched... evil. I'd take the WD40 to him.

Carpets match the scorpion!

Yea, it's not ideal for the live ones.

My MIL got stung about 7 years ago, she had purple spots all over her body for a couple weeks. If she wasn't so cool, I'd of laughed!!! 😝

I'd be screaming like a little girl if one of those showed up in my house or yard.

At first i thought i should comment on this for posterity sake. Then i remembered the hamster thread still lives. Lol.

For the record me too....

Had this one walking with a purpose right between a group of us on my driveway at the Landing. Hit it with a 100 mph flip flop from about 10'. It shattered into little pieces. I wish I would have got a picture. This is before the flip flop. One as it approached then one with the scorpion light.
