So my Howard has some fairly small pop up cleats. It’s dam near impossible to get the fenders and lines on one cleat and even harder to adjust them. I was thinking about putting in pin cleats for the fenders but the boat is so clean I hate to add them. What’s everyone using?

I bought some suction cups from a brand called air head off amazon. Used the bungee with the ball at the end to connect my fenders to them. They work amazing, then all my cleats are open for dock lines

We have 3 Quick pins of each side. Fender with short lines for boat protection. Use bungee dock lines to tie up. Keeps the boat off the dock. Double up with high winds.

I had deck pins installed, 2 per side, and love them for the fenders. I can now use my cleats exclusively for dock lines.

Use thinner ,longer rope, tie bumper to it. Same rope gets used for bumper and dock line

Marked all the fenders Front, Middle, & Back and the added thin Paracord type lines set at the perfect hights. Fenders go on first and the thin paracord still leaves more than enough room for thick oldschool docklines.

dont put more holes in the boat. get a smaller diameter dockline. you're not trying to hold it secure in a hurricane, just to prevent it from bouncing around in a slip at topock.

Right here find smaller rope and make a loop , don’t fuck up your boat
